The department, which was established in 1998, became active in 2010. With the sufficient number of academic staff and improving laboratory facilities, undergraduate and master’s degree started in 2016 and 2019, respectively. There are totally 8 academic staff and 4 sections including Botany, General Biology, Zoology and Molecular Biology in the Biology Department.
